Portland Kraken Rfc
Portland Kraken RFC (previously the Portland Power Pigs) have been around since 1996! The club is being re-born through NHMYRU. The Kraken are based in Portland, ME and are the official HS rugby team of Portland RFC. The club provides access for students from Cape Elizabeth, Scarborough, South Portland, Westbrook, Gorham, Deering, Waynflete, Portland, Cheverus and more.
JOIN the team
To join the Portland Kraken please follow the button to register for their club on Rugby Xplorer (RX). This registration is REQUIRED for you to play or practice club rugby! It provides you, the player, with player insurance and protects you under USA Youth & High School policies and the NHMYRU policy handbook. If you do not have a Rugby Xplorer account you will be prompted to make one. (Cost - $36.83)
The Kraken also run a secondary registration through TeamSnap. This registration helps cover the costs for the season and gives you access to their team chat. (Cost - $115.00)
